Deaf Women's Leadership Program

DWU and the Gallaudet Leadership Institute have partnered to provide the Deaf Women’s Leadership Training (DWLP) at Gallaudet University July 27 - August 1, 2008. DWLP provides Deaf women with an invigorating environment for self-awareness, exploration, actualization, and leadership development.  The program also strives to improve the quality of each participant’s life through community engagement, service, and development. 

Training modules offered by nationally recognized experts in Deaf Women will engage participants in activities designed to help them advocate for issues facing today’s Deaf woman.
