Bio:
My name is Jesica Rodriguez. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I make different kinds of homemade soaps, lotions, and lip balms. I have always been inspired by nature, so it has been my lifelong passion.. After I graduated from college, I married to a wonderful husband and have four children. Being a mother of four, it can be overwhelming and time-consuming. It was difficult to pursue my passion as a homemade soaps entrepreneur, but then my children started school, and I was able to make my dreams come true. Before I started my business, I signed up for classes to learn different methods to produce soaps, lotions, and lip balms. Once I finished, I was able to start my business, “JeZoe for a Happy Skin”. I love to meet different deaf people across the island and the mainland. It makes me feel good when people are happy with the way their skin feels with my products. My obstacles in soap selling is working with hearing people who have zero knowledge in language barriers and it can be challenging, however, they are also important customers.
I grew up as a powerful and strong person because I know the difference between right and wrong. I’ve always believed in intuition, spirit and soul because that has always been with me.
