Bio: Hannah Wheatcroft is an ecofeminist artist. She grew up in New England, she grew her roots in Colorado and recently transplanted to Seattle, Washington. She’s been always curious about human existence and energies. Hannah graduated from Naropa University in Peace Studies B.A. with minors in Visual Arts and Sacred Ecology. She self-published her own version of a tarot deck. She uses tarot cards as a self-exploration tool. The tarot deck was painted with watercolor and focused on local creatures and plants of Colorado. She had some copies printed and sold. Hannah is currently teaching at a bilingual Reggio-Emilia preschool with the Hearing, Speech, and Deaf Center in Seattle. Hannah’s childhood passion for snowboarding led to an amazing opportunity to compete in the 2019 Deaflympics in Italy. She is living her life doing what she loves while she grieves for the climate and fights for accessibility. She believes in the practice of re-claiming our bodies, re-discovering our relationships with the earth and re-connecting with the world in an authentic way, as much as we can.
